Katie is a family nurse practitioner with a decade of experience in primary care and professional speaking. She’s excited to open Life in Motion as an independent provider. Katie’s expertise includes the care and management of complex primary care patients including chronic and acute disease states including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, acute and chronic migraine management including medication options, COPD and depression/anxiety. She also serves as a health coach during Health Risk Assessments in which biometric screenings, blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, cholesterol and BMI, are performed, and the patient is counseled regarding their results.
